BC 401: Communicating with Markets

Overview

This course covers ways in which markets are identified and how effective communication is designed to reach specific markets. Students learn about communication organizational structures in marketing business units and how to increase communication with other internal units. Students also learn to connect marketing messages to business vision and mission statements.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Explain basic functions marketing and the personnel involved
  • Explore different job functions and how to increase communication to other business units
  • Describe vision and mission statements of a company and design communication for appropriate markets that also aligns with business vision and mission statements
