BBA 212: Technical Writing

Estimated Hours Per Week: 8

Overview

Welcome to BBA212: Technical Writing. Technical writing is the most sophisticated, effective type of writing today, and to master its techniques will benefit you a great deal as you move into this complicated, high-tech, international business world. It’s a no-frills, cook-book type of communication that is as audience-oriented, author-invisible as is possible. When you sit down to write information your customer, client, peer, co-worker, or even loved one needs, your focus is entirely on your audience, what they know already, want and need to know, and how to get the communication across as efficiently, quickly, concisely, and sufficiently as possible.
