Dr. Birkinshaw is an Associate Professor of Strategic and International Management at the London Business School. He has taught on a number of company-specific executive programs and worked on several open programs for executives. Dr. Birkinshaw is a member of the Council of Economy Advisors to the Invest in Sweden Agency, and has worked on a consulting basis with a number of clients. In 1998, the leading British Management magazine, Management Today, profiled Dr. Birkinshaw as one of the six "Next Generation of Management Gurus."
