Allan L. Canfield, PhD

Dr. Canfield is a JIU professor and content revision author in the BABC program, and is retired faculty in Speech Communication, State University of New York at Buffalo.

Dr. Canfield was an administrator and faculty member at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he taught courses in communication and sociology. He has also been on the faculty at Canisius College and the Western New York Consortium of Colleges. Although he is now retired from full-time university work, he is actively involved in teaching and writing. Dr. Canfield has presented at numerous conferences and is the author of the recent e-book, Body, Identity and Interaction: Interpreting Nonverbal Communication.
